Automakers Offering Payment Reliefs to Natural Disaster Victims

Automakers care about their customers and want to work with them through difficult times. As they are already helping through the pandemic by payment relief and providing essential medical equipment now they are helping through people affected by natural disasters. Toyota and Ford Motor Company are having a message for their customers recovering from the California fires, Iowa Derecho or Hurricane Laura.

The disaster relief program Ford is offering allows its customers to delay one or two monthly payments, resuming their regular payments when their situation improves. This offer is available to customers who have leased or purchased vehicles through ford credit or Lincoln automotive financial services.

Toyota has also announced that people who are affected by natural disasters can receive payment relief on the vehicle they are currently owning or leasing.  This offer is valid for customers with loan or lease effect from Toyota Financial Services or Lexus Financial Services. Payment relief can come in the form of extending or deferring payments, redirecting billing statements, and arranging phones or online payments.
